A good key is never one keyer and a slider. We build keys from layered core and edge mattes, clean up with roto garbage mattes, and treat spill separately so the foreground keeps its true colour against the new background.
When the screen is badly lit, too small or missing altogether, we switch to our proprietary AI matte extraction, refined by artists, and combine it with roto where needed — so you're never stuck waiting on a reshoot.
Deliveries are comp-ready: clean alpha, despilled plates and, on request, the Nuke or Fusion setup, in your naming conventions and formats.

What if the green screen is badly lit or uneven?
We key in sections with layered core and edge mattes, clean screen problems with garbage mattes and roto, and use AI matte extraction where the screen can't give a usable key.
Can you extract a matte with no green screen at all?
Yes. Our proprietary AI matte extraction, refined by artists and combined with roto, isolates subjects from ordinary plates when there is no screen to key.
Do you deliver the script or only the matte?
Whichever you prefer: alpha mattes, despilled plates, or the Nuke or Fusion setup so your compositors can adjust the key themselves.
How is keying priced?
Every shot is bid individually, based on frame count, screen quality and edge complexity such as hair, motion blur or transparency. Quotes are free.
